Come play rugby this Winter with the Marin Highlanders!

We are excited to announce that our Winter Rugby registration is OPEN

Registration will take part in two steps.

1. Register with the Highlanders 

2. Register with NorCal/USA Rugby.  NOW OPEN!

3. All players will receive their own jerseys again this year. For our U8-U12's these are dual training/match jerseys. For U14-U18 (Middle School, JV, Varsity) players, these will be the training jerseys for the season.  (More details to follow.)

2023 - 2024 Details

Youth Winter 2023-2024 Season Training Schedule 

Our regular Youth Season (Under 8s - Under 14s/Middle School) will begin early November at San Rafael High School.

Under 8s 9am-10am

Under10s 9am-11am

Under 12's 11am-1pm

Under 14s/MS 1-3pm

Regular season weekday training details. are still being organized for this year, however a typical schedule looks like this:

Under 8s practice Wednesdays from 4-5pm and one weekend morning practice -or - Home and Away games.

Under 10s and 12s Monday and Wednesday practice 4-6pm (or dark, light permitting) and one weekend morning practice -or - Home and Away games.

Under 14s/Middle School  practice Tuesday, some Wednesday sessions, and Thursdays,  4-6pm (or dark, light permitting) and one weekend morning practice -or - Home and Away games.

Our Home matches look to be set for San Rafael High School or Redwood High School.

Our Away matches are generally within an hour of Marin County

Girls: Middle School and High School practice Tuesday/Thursday (Location TBD)

Welcome to the 2023-2024 Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. The process should take approximately 30 minutes.

Please have the following items ready:

• For Middle School and younger players, you will need a scanned government issued document (birth certificate or passport) 

• For High School players you will need a scanned or digital copy of a legal Picture ID, i.e. school ID Card or school transcript with picture. (A California Driver’s License is acceptable if the Player is home schooled).

• Contact information, medical information including details of medical and dental insurance

As a reminder, all Marin Highlanders Officials, Coaches, Ref's and Staff are 100% volunteer.

All our registration fees cover insurance, field costs, and equipment.

Highlanders 2023 - 2024 Season Teams:  

• U8 - Girls and Boys, Flag Rugby. Must be under 8 years old on Sep 1st of the current year. $200 Registration Fee.
• U10 - Girls and Boys. Coed Tackle, Two weight classes - Lights & Opens. Must be under 10 years old on Sep 1st of the current year.  $300 Registration Fee.
• U12 - Girls and Boys. Coed Tackle. Two weight classes - Lights & Opens. Must be under 12 years old on Sep 1st of the current year. $300 Registration Fee.
• Boys Middle School -  Must be under 14 years old on Sep 1st of the current year or in 6th, 7th or 8th grade. $350 Registration Fee.
• Girls Middle & High School - Must be in either Middle or High School. $350 Registration Fee.
• Boys High School - Varsity and Junior Varsity. $500 Registration Fee.

REFUND POLICY

No refund after the first tournament.
• Refunds will be in the amount of the registration fee paid LESS a 25% admin fee.
• There are no refunds for uniforms or spirit wear.
